Using Your Business Mobile Phone When It Should Be On Silent
If you like to watch the daily soaps like Corrie or Eastenders then trying to use your business mobile in a public place might be something you want to try. Not only will you receive the scorn of everyone around, but you will also feel terrible while you were only trying to do the right thing.
“Never switch off your business mobile phone”, right? Well whilst this may be the case there is something to say for a vibrating ring tone or a very quiet ring tone that no one else will notice. Try to find a middle ground here as it would be sad if you missed a good job opportunity because of the public opinion, but it would be equally as bad if you would be pointed out in a large crowd as “the sinner”. Every time you go into a public place, take out your phone and change the ring tone. This might be a bit of work but it can save you a lot of agony.
