Winter sports are there in plenty, and there are many takers of winter sports in the western country because of the climatic condition prevailing over there all through the year. As the Asian countries are not blessed with a climate which would give snows continuously, the winter sports are limited in numbers or less restricted to some particular months. One of the commonest winter sports is downhill skiing which is played with much passion and is well supported by spectators all around the world. Skating is also a kind of famous winter sport which has many followers all around the world.
