Train to Become a Medical Assistant Phlebotomist

Of all the things you can do in the field of medicine, drawing blood is probably not something many people wish to do.  I have heard many people choose not to go into medicine at all simply because they cannot handle blood.  I am not one of those people.  I found a local program to train to become a medical assistant phlebotomist, and am now helping in the lab at a clinic in our town.  We are always in need of help, and the training for this doesn’t take as long as it does to get a degree.  This is really fascinating work, and I thoroughly enjoy my job!
