The cultural movement of hip hop was born in the early 1970’s and one of the first released vinyl records was by the Sugar Hill Gang and was entitled ‘Rappers Delight’.A fast paced music type, hip hop has also brought about its own style of fashion which helps represent this newly created music.A Jamaican, called DJ Kool Herc, created the hip hop form of music and brought it with him, from Jamaica, to the streets of New York back in the seventies.Mixing 2 download loops of the same vinyl record and including a rap conversation, the culture of hip hop and rap was born.
