Rising Costs in Health Care
Health care costs are rising at an alarming rate. That is one of the few things I agree with Congress on. Yet I do not agree with the health care reform bill as it is currently written. I want every American to have access to cheap health insurance, but not if it means increasing our taxes. Too many people are out of work and we need to do something about that first. When Congress first started debating this bill, it was claimed that 45 million Americans were uninsured. Now that unemployment has risen over ten percent, we don’t know the current number of uninsured. I’m afraid America can’t afford to cover them all.
