Throat Phlegm
Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs block the body from producing prostaglandins, which primarily causes inflammation and pain.
Common examples of NSAID naproxen (Aleve and Naprosyn) and ibuprofen (Motrin, Advil). Some NSAIDs are more etodolak (Lodine), ketoprofen (Orudis), meloxicam (Mobic), celecoxib (Celebrex), indomethacin, oxaprozin (Daypro), diclofenac (Cataflam and Voltaren), nabumetone (Relafen) and piroxicam (Feldene). These drugs are often recommended when it made a positive diagnosis of Throat Phlegm.
But keep in mind that when taken in high doses for long periods, these drugs may lead to adverse side effects such as stomach ulcers, stomach bleeding and liver and kidney. Another type of medication RA is corticosteroids. These drugs suppress the immune system, ultimately reducing inflammation.
