Where carbide dies come from
Carbide Dies are manufactured through a process known as header die tooling. A header die is used to punch or to fasten tube holes in bolt-on type headers. The headers are clamped and put into place by a series of clamps. It is then d across the header die which makes it possible to fasten the tubes holes as it goes. A set of back up bars are also located in the setup to enable the engagement and disengagement of each and every row of punches. An adjustable clamp bar is also present which can be positioned inward or outwards of the tube slot pattern.
