Green building is more popular today than it ever has been in the past. More businesses (big and small) are remodeling and/or building more energy efficient structures in order to conserve energy and save on their taxes. This demand in the green building industry has jump started the need for more professionals for consulting and rating green structures. LEED training is the key to becoming a professional in this career field. Some of the exams that are required for certification include knowledge of the design and construction of green houses and the operation and maintenance of currently existing buildings to reduce the impact on the environment of said buildings over its lifetime.
